Naomi Osaka has not fallen. She has 4 Slams and is filthy rich. That is Success.
  • @hotflesh66
Multiple Grand slam winner, rich, and a new mom so technically there is no "fall" of Osaka.
  • @kdot7162
She has one less slam than Maria Sharapova and three less than Venus Williams. She's been incredibly successful. I commend her for wanting to start a family.

That US open final against Serena really messed her up. It was a disgusting showing by both the crowd and Serena. They booed her during the trophy presentation. Not surprised she wasn’t the same since.

N.Osaka is a 4-time grand slam champion. She has achieved more than 90% of her peers. Congrats to being a new mom. However, being a professional athlete nowadays requires strong mental health as well as dealing with the media on a consistent basis. Until she addresses these areas, her on-court game will not be sustainable. Good luck Naomi!!

This is a crazy headline lol just saying... that getting pregnant and taking time off is considered a "fall"

She had an amazing career so far, 4 grand slams is pretty impressive. Her 2019 AO run was one of the exciting grand slams perfomances and no one can take away those moments. I hope she can come back to tennis on her terms and enjoy the game. Tennis is more exciting with her around

I don't see Naomi coming back to form like she was regardless if she has this newfound inspiration to play for her child. The tennis media will be the same, the pressures will be the same, the competition has gotten stronger, and Naomi's mental state will be the same towards all of the above. Having a kid just doesn't make you better. I think Naomi's problem is that she hasn't simplified her career to just tennis.

She was in an incredible position re tennis career and global marketing. Yeah trolls dumped on her, and she seems sensitive to that, wears it on her sleeve. Hoping she can come back. In Canada, we hope the same for Andresscu, who was coming back from multiple injury and mental health break.

Looking forward to Naomi playing in 2024, starting at the Australian Open and then in the Summer Olympics in Paris! All the best, Naomi!
  • It was great watching Naomi when her tennis career took off and I loved her down-to-Earth comments and press conferences after her matches. If she doesn’t return to tennis, she still left her mark as one of the greats. I wish her well either way, but would love to see her play again!

As soon as she dated a rapper, we all know where that goes................. It was so obvious
  • @dotsanto3929
She made it possible for people to see mental illness Great sportsmanship when she beat CoCo and the first to share limelight with her!
  • @vv93041t
She did not fall because of racism…. She was just entitled.
  • @Jackie-ji2sj
IF ONLY SHE HAD A BIT OF RAFAEL NADALS STEELINESS ❤
  • she's done in tennis she found new life and she's loving it. it was a brilliant carreer.
  • @polokucoch8112
Unfortunately, you can't say that you have mental health as an excuse. Professional sports don't care about emotions. It's the play ground that she chose to go in. Wish her the best and hope she can conquer her mental illness.
  • Definitely hasn't fallen. Some people forget just how great she is
  • @johniii8147
She just couldn't handle the pressure but took all the money.
  • @1rustyboy1
Maria Screamapova did the same thing. Lived in U.S.since 9 years old but played for Russia. Osaka is just too sensitive. Take your 50 mil and ride into the sunset
