99% of society are good people. We see stories about the 1%, but that isn't how we are. Glad he was found by someone that cared. He's one tough dude!

Christie and her brother, Mitchell, were two of my students many moons ago when they were in high school. They both have big hearts. There are a lot of good people around this area.

It's these kind of stories that restore my faith in humanity.
  • Beautiful story! Bless the community and Bill! We need more stories like these — the world has lots more good than bad; we just need to highlight it 💜
  • Me and my buddies that worked at the glass plant in fort. Smith Arkansas did the same thing, in the 80s and the 90s for a Man named Richard Childers from Van Buren.
  • My sister is 49 yrs old and she lost her sight completely last year. It’s been such a heartbreaking loss because she was the rock of our family. My older sister is amazing and I know she deserves the best. Our whole family is doing the best to support her and hope that soon she learns to do things independently and feels confident again. This was a great story to watch.

Im legally blind as well and it does my heart good to see this. I was walking to my local grocery store and had a total stranger offer me a ride home with my groceries. Its a daunting task and a little scary to do this when you are legally blind.

What a beautiful act of love. My hope is that acts of kindness like this spread quickly to smother the hate that is experienced in this world. May it be so.
  • What a beautiful story. That’s what life is truly about, helping others and being kind. Even if they are a stranger to you.
