What you are talking about here is foundational to our Christian walk on this earth and to living in His peace. I am a Christian women, who loves the Lord and has experienced His faithfulness to me through lifes trials, yet, I struggle with discouragement, doubt, fear, anxiety... I am often bunged up and stumbling, trying hard to figure out what is right and wrong... and praying for the Lord to "Please show me what I should do." But when you speak of "asking is it Life or Death" and listening to His voice it changes my focus... to attention to the Father instead of trying to see "down the road" by my own vision, and it boils down to "Am I believing God and His goodness and love for me, or doubting Him?) I really appreciate this sermon on many levels, it hits home for my own journey, and, as I consider my own mostly grown sons, and my desperate desire for them to chose godly spouses, and to walk with the Lord. Thank you, Pastor Morris. Thank you for your encouragement, and most of all for handling the scriptures with honor, as you dig deep to understand God's Word and share it with us. I am eager to apply this, and spend time with my Father... He is a good, good Father!
