    That inside curve for the final 22.5 4 step did the trick. I was building into a smaller existing barn loft access and the winder math wasn't going to work for code. Adding a rounded pillar shape to the inside corner allowed the measurements to work visually without having to convince anyone of anything and the guy passed the inspection without complaint.
