Oh thank you for sharing this today. My 18 year old granddaughter has only one transplanted kidney and is in full rejection and having a biopsy today at 3. I just got out of the hospital myself and am not even in the same state as she and the family are right now and its making my anxiety and blood pressure out of control. Max, hallie and Aaron, I’m pale too, you need to spend the entire summer getting a base tan slow steady and safely, you’ll forever tan easily after that instead of the burn, peel and white again. Trust me on this. I got a job at tree nursery at 18, I got soo dark even my mom was surprised. She tans easily but I don’t. Now I’m tan every summer. The sun is good for us, we get vitamins that foods can’t give us.

Definitely cherish these moments. One of my favorite memories in my childhood was family vacations because we didn't have a lot of money, so when we got to go like once every 3 years, it was epic. Now that we're all adults, and live in different states, busy with work, kids, life, we just don't do family vacations anymore. These are the days, soak it all in, hug the kids, annoy them, love on them, laugh with them, and get those moments and memories.
