2024 anyone 😢

My 7 year old son absolutely loved Pete’s Dragon. He passed away of cancer in 2020. This song hits deeper than I could ever put into words now.

The Lumineers have to be the most underrated folk/americano band of the last decade. They keep showing up in movie soundtracks and they are always phenomenal.

my bf and i’s dog passed away yesterday evening. we had to watch him fall asleep with the angels and let him go from pain. it was the hardest thing to do and watch. as i loved that dog as much as he loved him. he was our family . watching him pass was the hardest thing to deal with. Calling out to the Lord has helped me so much. He knows how to help us through grief and sadness if we just believe and call out to him. truly if i didn’t know about the Lord, a big part of me would be dead with my dog as well. it’s hard to live life without my doggo but ik the Lord is here to give me and my bf solace.❤️

Lost my 21 year old cockatiel this week. Had him from 5 until now where I'm turning 27. I wish we took more pictures and videos of him back in the 2000s. Seems like without the prevalence of phones, cameras were reserved for special events in my household. Thankfully he was a spirited boy so practically every birthday video has him chirping in the background. Rest in peace Monty, fly to better horizons

I dont care what people say, this song really hits deep.

My father died a few weeks ago at 50. Im 25, this song is really hitting deep right now. Miss you dad

I cry every single time.. My son died at 3 months. When I talk about him. My quote is "Love is deep as the road is long" ❤
-
My little brother died in March, and his wife and kids spread his ashes in the San Francisco Bay while playing this song. God this song is so real and it hurts to have seen my nieces and nephews crying spreading their daddys ashes. Thank you Jesus for you know how the story ends. Rip my Lil brother Antonio Lorenzo Mendoza. We love you.

“Nobody knows where the story ends, live the day do what you can” has to be my favorite line
-
“Nobody knows how to say goodbye, seems so easy until you try....” so true 👏🏼
-
My grandfather passed away yesterday, I know he's in a better place but it hurts to know that we couldn't be there with him in the hospital because of everything going on. Pops I love you so much ❤

I feel sad, happy, alone, awesome while listening their songs.

"And who here is not buried in another person's heart?'' {Richard Jackson}

Lost my wife 6 months ago from breast cancer at only 45 years old after 26 years together. Lumineers was her favorite band. Every song makes me weep. "Love is deep as the road is long." Nothing more true.

I’m a 22 year old man and that movie made me cry. The dragon reminded me of my childhood dog (had her from age 13-21). She was a big goofy yellow lab that was with me through the hardest times in my life so far. The Pacific Northwest setting also made it hit home harder for me as that’s the last place I ever saw her.

"Nobody Knows" Nobody knows how to say goodbye It seems so easy 'til you try Then the moments passed you by Nobody knows how to say goodbye Nobody knows how to get back home And we set out so long ago Search the heavens and the Earth below Nobody knows how to get back home Through the darkness to the dawn And when I looked back you were gone Heard your voice leading me on Through the darkness to the dawn Love is deep as the road is long And moves my feet to carry on It beats my heart when you are gone Love is deep as the road is long Nobody knows how the story ends Live the day, doing what you can This is only where it begins Nobody knows how the story ends Nobody knows how the story ends

Timeless, beautiful. One of the most poignant songs ever written. The Lumineers have been so underrated, but their music will be played and appreciated for generations. Love, love, love them. ❤️

This is, hands down, my favourite song. I lost my mother at 23 and nothing describes what that feels like quite as well as "Love is deep as the road is long". Thank you for this.

they are the reason we believed in music once.. and we can believe again. Thank you Lumineers.
