Man, I've lived in Palermo and you have no idea about Palermo. It's an amazing town full of incredible real people, excellent food, coffee, night life etc.

I love all of Italy.. The Food, Culture and Architecture. But the people are the best.
  • @selita90
sicily is another world my dears, mix of cultures, arts and foods
  • The world is way too big to stay in a place you didn’t connect. ❤ This sentence made my day 🙏🏻
  • We agree that Palermo is a gritty city but that is what we loved about it when we visited a few years ago. It did not feel like a tourist destination, it felt real. Unfortunately, you missed all the interesting and cool places to visit in Palermo. You need to go back with a local!

the person that serves food on 2:39 - actually one of the best pizzerias in Naples (at via Foria), Lombardi 1892, work here for ages, been to Naples 10+ times and he's still there. Sicilian cannoli is the best pastry I've ever eaten and I've eaten quite a lot around the world))))

BRAVO! Sicily is so full of treasures! Glad you came. You can find laid back or go go. You can find mountains and gorgeous seas. Food is complicated: agrodolce! Balaro is awesome just have to know when and where to go. Come back soon!

Guys Palermo is a bit of a tricky city if you don’t know your way around just focus on the city center max 1 or 2 days and go explore other areas in Sicily like the south and east coast or even close by towns like Cefalù or Monreale, Trapani and Erice, the islands just of the coast and there is so much more that deserves to be seen.. I’m originally from a town which is about 1 hour south from Palermo and believe me the atmosphere is completely different ❤ And by the way CANNOLO with an O 😂😂😂
  • I visited Sicily as a solo female traveler in April - May 2013. I planned the trip, rented a car, and spent an entire month. I stayed in some of the very small and amazing towns as well as Palermo, Ortygia and a week in the Aeolian Islands. Visited all the temples and Villa Romana, which was the highlight of all the highlights. I loved the people who were so welcoming and the food and wine was to die for. Absolutely love bella Sicilia!

I loved this vlog. I’m heading to Sicily next month from Australia and have found this so beneficial. One of your best in my opinion.
