I love War of Hormones. I think it is a shame that silly people took offense to it because what BTS was singing about was how we all feel when going through puberty--boys and girls. It is a normal phase of life. I have heard songs that are extremely vulgar and really do degrade women so why was this song being attacked? Of course Korea has a different view on things from the USA. Here in America, this song was mild and a part of growing up.

Your analysis after the "Run" MV was chef's kiss - I love seeing people theorize or add meaningful insight to the symbolism in this series of music videos. Man, the HYYH era was just so magical, depressing, and nostalgic and I don't think any group has come close to this level of being both angsty but realistic in showing young people trying to hold onto their youth.
  • @leeswhimsy
Welcome to the Story Line!!! Honestly, it's one of the most gorgeous visual stories I've ever seen. The members' acting is chef's kiss. The story is mostly visual, so stay sharp!!!! Enjoy! It's a very very deeply emotional and symbolic story. I know you'll love it! I still cry when I watch the Prologue and Highlights!!!!
  • @UKNOBTS
I cannot hear Butterfly now, after the Busan final concert without absolutely bawling my eyes out. 😭
  • @DarkWing494
If you really wants to dive in, you have to watch the original 18+ version of "I Need U" MV the one you watched have missed a lot of what happened.
  • @lizruork7877
I think the I need you video you watched is a shorter version The longer one contains more of the individuals separate stories … for more understanding of the BU you should watch that The Polaroid at the end of prologue is a sort of key to the BU .. when it was taken both jin and (I think) RM were in the picture? Anyway it’s a big can of worms lol Next stop on stage prologue the wings short films?
  • @wishuback_
oh i am so excited for you to watch wings and the love yourself stories, the bangtan storyline was SO interesting and i was always so sad they never really picked it up again! great analysis as always:)
  • @timtoe40
This was always my favorite BTS universe period. Jin nearly loses his soul trying to rescue them all out of their situations. He eventually realizes that they can save each other, it's not on any one member. And they save him from despair as well.
  • oh I'm so happy to see you react to these songs. Watching the HYYH mv's again besides someone who's seeing them for the first time brings back so many memories, it made me a little emotional. BTS was the group that introduced me to kpop and I remember being OBSESSED with the hyyh "world", I would watch the Run mv almost everyday to the point of dreaming about it lol . Love the commentary as always, amazing observations !
  • @UKNOBTS
Oh yes, definitely need to do the long version of I need you. Ive been waiting almost 3 years for you to start the BU! To hear your interpretation. Now we're here!
  • @psychokitty9325
The photos in both Prologue and Run change, that's why Jin's expression changes when looking at it.
  • @ogkpopper
Man... watching him trying to figure out these MVs make me remember how we went all insane trying to figure it out and coming with all these crazy theories. It's entertaining 😂 PS. There many scene that are parallel to Spring Day MV, watch that again after watching this
  • @jessyariola7498
Well in the Prologue, one of their member who has killed his father who's abusing his sister,to relieve his guilt, he approached his Hyungs to be able to lighten his heavy heart. But inspite of that still suicidal (by jumping to the sea) prevail in front of his beloved Hyungs!!!
  • @BangtanDodgers
Now that you have watched all of these older MVs, you need to go back and watch the Yet To Come MV so you can find all the Easter Eggs you may have missed the first time!
  • @Ljologan56
In the beginning of “Run” that’s V falling backwards into the water. Only Mr. never flinch V could have done that scene. This trilogy made so many become fans. So interesting it created so many theories about it. Also, that is the intro for their song “House of Cards” playing during the credits of the Prologue. Butterfly became my favorite song after that Prologue.
  • @Jk-9297
Actually at the end of HYYH prologue, Jin sees the polaroid and he gets surprised and then sad because Yoongi was actually behind him in the photo but somehow his face disappeared later! It's a hint about the story which I'm not spoiling for you. Also, since you mentioned TXT, BU and TU are in fact related to each other officially!
  • @SnowRivera
You're just gonna spoil us all with longer BTS vids 😏🖤🥀
  • @Kou_nii
Im so happy for you reacting to this, Run is the most significant and meaningful song for me, it always brought me to tears and I've been hoping this reaction from you. Many people focus on partying and having "fun" of the video and just ignore the title RUN itself, but I knew that your analysis will be on point. idk, maybe I'm too picky because it evokes a hard moment in my life.
