It still feels kind of weird to speak of in-game events and Tall Tales as history, even though it's correct. Especially the things that happened after I started playing SoT, lol. Thank you for these videos, I learned a lot about the lore from you! :D

Another top tier video, as central as it is to the lore I've never adored the history of Athena's fortune. The other companies always seemed more interesting to me. Although they do have some of the best characters, Mercia is still one of my favourites and I'm holding out hope we can maybe meet her in the sotd some day. I must ask though now that she was mentioned here, is there a Briggsy video at some point in the future 👀

My biggest question is about the amount of ships the Pirate Lord has. There's the Magpie's wing, which is wrecked at that unnamed island with the shroudbreaker, the Magpie's Fortune at Old Sailor's Isle (how'd it get there and why?) There's the one that makes up the PL tavern called Athena's Fortune, if that was even a real ship used, and then the other one in the PL hideout but I don't think that was his. Hopefully you answer this conundrum for me.

having community events determine the outcome of major story points is actually amazing. Though I assume it's taxing as you basically need to wait and see what happens

I would like to see a video for flameheart just so more people know about the lore behind him and the faction as I feel that they aren't discussed well enough in game. I'm loving the vids keep it up

I like Athena’s fortune and all but I think a shiny ray is better

Update idea, 2 npc ships that bear the sails of the trading companies and the reapers, this could end up being a free ally if you sail under the same faction or an enemy based on your current faction. These would only appear on more empty servers in order to avoid lag.

It’s funny how they say anyone caught betraying the athena alliance was let go considering how that doesn’t seem to work against the player character plot armor and you know those who die return back to their ship after the ferry finds them meaning they can go and tell on them to daddy ramsy lol

Ever notice the spiral effect on the lower half of all the ghost characters is gone since the introduction of the ghost curse

Another great video!! I really love the story behind the Sea of Thieves, but I will admit that I can't really keep up with all the characters & story, despite videos like this. But that's probably my ADHD 🤣
