Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his troops not to storm the Azovstal steel plant, where the last group of Ukrainian fighters in Mariupol is holding out.

Instead, the president told them to seal it up so "not even a fly can escape" and said Russia has control of the strategic port city.

The massive, four square-mile plant has become the last bastion of Ukrainian resistance in Mariupol.

Ukraine's deputy prime minister has demanded that Russia allow an immediate humanitarian corridor for civilians to escape the steelworks in Mariupol.

  • That poor lady survived the Holocaust to die in a cold basement begging for water at 91 years old. Absolutely vicious and cruel. How many other people are suffering?

He is basically going to starve out the last few soldiers in the steel plants. They are cut off and have no way of getting aid or supplies. They are essentially screwed.
  • Sealing doesn't mean covering with cement all holes. It means, putting soldiers in all corners so that there's no escape. This way they will control what goes in and out.

Wow, a catacomb under a huge, deserted steel works? That some Fallout/Doom level $hit. Even Russian conscripts are smart enough to say "oh, hell no!".

Who remembers the last time a President celebrated victory too early, saying "Mission Accomplished?"

The British being shocked on how can Russia just invade a sovereign state is just priceless 😂

Just think for once- If there wasn't a comedian Zelinsky, Ukrainians would have never seen this day.
  • If the fighters give themselves up or decide to continue fighting they have already done enough to earn our respect. Whatever their decision I salute their incredible courage.

In other words, he's going to starve them to death.
  • I do wish the time and date of all these videos were visible. How old is the news .. how recent the update.
