I've put a lot of thought into this new channel, @julieinitaly and decided now is the perfect time to take the plunge. My @AmericanViscountess YouTube channel has seen incredible growth since its inception, now boasting over 213k subscribers. Our "Castles, Manors, and Stately Homes" content is also licensed by Little Dot Studios www.littledotstudios.com/ and is featured on their various YouTube and FAST channels, such as @RealRoyalty (with 1.2 million subscribers), @ChronicleMedieval - @AbodeLDS (interior design and renovation), and more. Thank you all for being part of this journey! 🙏🏻

Given the popularity of my Little Italian House renovation vlogs on the @AmericanViscountess channel—some of which have surpassed 1 million views—it made sense to launch a dedicated channel, @julieinitaly Thank you for your continued support! 🎉

At the launch of @julieinitaly I'll be uploading archive vlogs from the past three years to help build the channel. Starting in July 2024, you'll get to enjoy fresh and exciting content. The kitchen renovation videos will continue to be uploaded on @AmericanViscountess and eventually on @julieinitaly It may seem a bit confusing, but rest assured, you'll get a healthy dose of Italy on both channels until the end of 2024 when we fully transition. Phew, and thank you! 🥳

Please subscribe to @julieinitaly - it costs nothing and helps me grow the channe

  • The little alcove screams for a book case. It would add to the ambiance, coziness.

Julie, I would add a cabinet in the cubby. Filled with games, cards, puzzles and books.
  • You did such an amazing job not only having a vision, but being able to tweak it as necessary. I love finding all second hand, either antique or vintage. But to pull it all together in a cohesive and beautiful way. Absolute kudos to you. You’ve done an amazing job and you should be so dang proud of yourself. A beautiful vision, come to fruition.
  • I think you should put a antique two level book shelf with a liquor station on top. With a mirror behind on the back wall.
  • Hi Julie, my advise for your alcove would be refined old wood shelves where you can highlight fun photos of your family. I cannot express enough how happy you make me watching your extremely well done videos, you are always such a refreshing breathe of wonderfulness. Absolutely Beautiful Sole ❤❤

Love the black stairs the cubby hole I think shelves with books would look cozy and warm. 💕
  • Julie, you have done an exquisite job in transforming this house to a splendid creation …you are a Genius! Love, love, love the staircase you and Nester did… your son is such a big help… Brilliant job Julie… looking forward to the Kitchen Transformation
  • I love the black stair case and all you’ve done to your little Italian house! Black is so neat and clean looking in design. So tired with many people painting everything white! Looks great!
  • And everything you brought is So, So, So Beautiful for the Room's, bathroom, hall way, living room. And I think you brought for your Kitchen to not to sure you show Us somethings. For the kitchen but all what you brought Beautiful.Thank you Julie.Love Raquel.Keep kickin' Butt.

It all looks great. You may have already designed the living room nook, but a vintage or antique open bookcase painted in a complimentary green would be beautiful and draw the eye to such a unique feature of the room. I hope you continue to go flea market shopping after the decorating is complete and take us along! I remember the guest bedroom and was so excited that you kept the headboards original as well as the bath! It's wonderful to see your children get involved too!
  • Love the stairs and the bedrooms! Cannot wait to see the Kitchen once finished! Chow!
  • You’re fantastic Julie. Love your enthusiasm and love of life. Your little Italian house is gorgeous. ❤

Your husband couldn’t possibly find a better wife and a mother for his kids! Even though he seems like a very nice man! Julie,This is your calling! Just beautiful! Great taste and talent to find diamonds among dust!

A dry floral composition would look stunning in that corner behind the armchair in the sitting room.
  • @kimandesron
How about putting an antique drop leaf desk in the cubby? Something like a secretary desk with open legs so you can still see the terracotta floor tile. You could also add a simple chair that could be pushed into the desk when not in use and then pull it out when needed for extra company.
  • I think the cubby hole should house bookshelves and a lot of books : )
