The lack of an apology or even a dime of pay tells the entire truth: those dog owners are guilty 100%. Bless this young lady; may she have a speedy recovery.

I've been attacked by a few dogs. And the owners always say, "They never did anything like this before." Classic cases of denial.

This is not just heartbreaking but infuriating. The fact that a young girl lay dying (and could have died) while grown men with fire arms danced around the situation for half an hour is unacceptable. They should have stormed in, if attacked by the dogs, shot them point blank and rescued the girl who was probably still being mauled in that half an hour before the health officials got to her.
  • Let me get this straight- the police arrived and it was over a half hour before they were able to get to her 🤔 why did they not open fire on the dogs immediately and rescue her ?
  • At first I was like “I’m not going to immediately judge these owners” but once he said they didn’t even pay her for the stay nor offer any medical help and haven’t even spoken to her since the day of the stay.....those owners deserve jail time and to be put on a registry to keep them from owning a pet again.

I am in complete shock that the owners didn't even bother to apologize or pay her in full. Jesus Christ what is WRONG with those people?

I’m a dog attack survivor. My heart breaks for her. I will never be the same either. I work in home health care. So many owners are in denial about their dogs behavior

I was doing okay until they told us her boyfriend had just beaten cancer and that he was so glad to show her the same support she showed him. That broke me and I cried like a baby. Those two genuinely deserve each other and I wish them all the best, her parents too.

I been a vet tech for almost 15 years and the amount of people that put their pets before human safety is astonishing. Any signs of aggression should be taken seriously. Woah! I can’t believe how much likes and replies I have under my comment. I’m also surprised and not surprised from the comments lol. I train all new techs in my hospital and I only have 1 rule: 1. Human safety comes first then come the pets. I’m not gonna risk my safety for your pets comfort… sorry.

Obviously hard to watch, but the ending hit me like a ton of bricks when the reporter said that the dog owners haven’t reached out to her not one time and haven’t even paid her in full for the night of dog sitting. That is mind blowing to me. They must be real pieces of work.

It is appalling that the dog owners haven’t paid her nor spoken to her since this attack. I would be begging for forgiveness from her the rest of my life, immediately put the dogs down and offer any financial and emotional support I could. What’s really remarkable is the boyfriend stayed by her side and didn’t ditch her. You hear about that sort of thing a lot. You are both gems in this world. God bless in your healing journey.

The fact that her boyfriend was there for her and still with her regardless of her looks it’s the most heart warming thing to ever witness
  • @JojosOasis
No apology after what she’s been through and didn’t even pay her. What a sorry excuse for a couple. They absolutely need to be held accountable in every way possible for this. Their lack of care shows they deserve no mercy in being charged and ordered to pay her for the lifetime care she will need. She’s such a beautiful soul and never deserved this. I pray for her recovery.

Having served as a paramedic for many years, I firmly believe that preemptive measures, such as euthanizing highly aggressive dogs, are essential to prevent life-threatening attacks. Responding to numerous dog-related calls, including incidents where adults and children lost their lives, underscores the urgency of this stance. I wish the absolute best for this fantastic young woman and that she heals, recovering as fully as possible from this unnecessary, brutal attack.
  • @Arlene_G
Out of a horrendous attack, and cruel disfigurements, this young woman is an amazing and courageous example of encouragement to others. God bless her!!
  • @black_wolf9
No apology, no payment, no remorse. Those owners knew the dogs were not safe! What is with the lack of common sense? Bravo Jacqueline for being so absolutely beautiful and brave! You got this!!!

Pet owners, please understand your pets can have a totally different personality when you are there vs when you are gone. I've been a pet sitter for a few years now and I've seen dogs totally calm with the owner that turn into anxious messes when they are gone. Please get your pet proper training, no matter their size.
  • @lynnfaulkner2706
Wait. "We can't make entry because of the dogs" ??? Over a HALF HOUR they "HAD" to wait??? Am i understanding this correctly? Honestly, i would be suing the Police Department for gross negligence.
  • @maksimnaumov2227
Kudos to her family and boyfriend. Our world needs people like them. Stay strong, girl. You're amazing.
