I find it really offensive for the victims to hear the Defence team say “ he was made out to be a monster who stole from children, crippled people” etc. He wasn’t made out to be, he DID steal from numerous people who trusted him, it’s disgusting. The only people who have gained financially from this is the lawyers. Also I find it so unprofessional for some of the Defence team to smirk when they speak of the SLED team, yes mistakes may have been made but the facts speak for themselves. It’s astonishing that they seem convinced that he’s innocent or maybe that’s just the way the system works, god knows. Justice was done and I hope he doesn’t get off on appeal. God bless Maggie and Paul and their families who loved them. God bless Buster, it’s unimaginable to think of what he is going through. Watching this case from Ireland 🇮🇪

QUESTION: Will convicted prisoners now be able to appeal their verdicts and sentences based on the fact that Alex was who prosecuted them? Can they claim that their prosecutor was high on opiates and couldn’t have been fit to make cases against them?

I remember when there was first talk about this case coming to trial and nobody thought it would be very interesting. Scott Reish had a hunch it would be a good one to follow, and boy was he right.

Do you think Buster knows he is guilty. Remember, Buster said he doubted Paul was driving the boat.

I would like to know who was shot first? Either way, whether the mother watched her husband murder her son or the son watched as his father shot his mother to death; Both are almost beyond understanding other than to say, addicts can be very dangerous people and you wonder if anyone is safe when drugs are involved?
