The Cream of Some Young Guy wasn't even in the original script but when Mike Myers said that it got a huge laugh and they decided to stick with it.
-
This was LITERALLY the best movie scene I've ever seen.
-
Do you ever get the feeling Benjamin's not one of us?
-
Are we going to ignore the fact Garth toasts an imaginary champagne flute
-
His American accent is quite strong when speaking Cantonese, but it could be easily understood by any Cantonese speaker.
-
Cantonese translation: "Hello? I want a delivery. A Kung Po Chicken, a barbecued duck, a pound of barbecued pork, Mountain Dew, Pepsi Cola, Yeung Chau Fried Rice. " And one more thing, Kowloon Bay is simply a commercial & residential area (today), there is no difference on language, or culture, unless you are born in less developed area.

The added silence at 0:11 seconds, is because during the test run of the movie, people laughed so long at that part they didn't get to hear the following dialogue. That's the first instance I've ever heard of adding space for laughs in a movie.

"Mountain Dew... Pepsi Cola"... Still use that line as of... Two minutes ago. My wife didn't get it as we sat at the dinner table so I pulled up the clip
-
I almost forgot how many funny things happen almost per minute in this movie. This scene is a good reminder of that lol
-
I'll have the cream of sum yung gai 😆 I completely lost it when Wayne says that
-
Cantonese is one of the hardest languages to learn, even Mandarin speakers have a hard time. Benjamin actually did quite well here, even better than Wayne (and Cassandra tbh).
-
the sound Benjamin makes at 0:19 is hilarious. "daungh okay"
-
LOL when Wayne said "I'll have the cream of sum yung gai" and Cassandra groans and slightly slaps him
-
The look on Garth's face when Benjamin was ordering lol
-
Garth stifles his laugh audibly, so it comes out instead as a wiggling convulsion.
-
Benjamin and Bobby are two of the greatest comedy villains ever.
-
i was born in cream of sum yung guy
-
He definitely tried on this scene and it was great. His accent is pretty thick but the fact that he was able to do this scene with the correct pronunciation is impressive.
-
@0:13 Dana Carvey is freakin' hilarious
-
thanks to rob lowe they didn't cut the "cream of sum yung gai" line
