A kind advice: please folks, get the book and enjoy the ride. It is hands down one of the best sci-fi thrillers out there, ever. When you then watch this "masterpiece", you can still enjoy the pretty pictures if you like. There is so much left out, so much potential wasted - no wonder Frank walked out on the production team early on.

Killer whale, real killer whale, killer crab, killer tsunami. This is probably the best 2023 series that I'm not gonna watch.

I read the book when it came out and it was absolutely one of the best. Watched the series recently and was quite surprised that it was as good.

The scabs that stayed on during the SAG AFKA strike were clearly the ones left in charge of this one. "I would tell an invading force to stop" Wow. Groundbreaking. Reminds me of Storm's amazing one liner from X-men "do you know what happens to a toad in a storm, the same thing that happens to everything else!"

Have read the book. Good to see they make it a series, the story would be bad for a single movie.

The novel written by Frank Schætzing was so spectacular that i couldn't dream of watching a movie any time soon at the time the novel was written. So I'm excited now!

The series started out great and some of the events depicted (Orcas) are eerily relevant, but the ending is even worse of a let-down than Bran Stark getting on the Iron Throne.

0:28 I "love" how EVERY single movie's trailer now, has got to have this "woooo" depletion sound. It's kind of compulsory. I mean : what do the production departments think when implementing this ? "'Oh, that's right, we almost forgot : we have to put a "wooo" in the trailer. Where shall we put it ?"
