TWISC: In Session Feb. 1, 2018

Publicado 2018-02-02
It was another quick Thursday at the Statehouse as lawmakers zipped through their respective calendars, approved a few perfunctory matters and ended their fourth week of regular session.

The most activity happened outside of the House and Senate chambers, where committees dealt with execution methods and shielding pharmaceutical companies that provide lethal injection drugs, a conference committee started hammering out the details of a surprisingly contentious bill on the governor and lieutenant governor running on a joint ticket and we caught up with Gov. Henry McMaster today to discuss the Super Bowl.
