I have spent a lot of time behind a Savage FVSR shooting at fifty and a hundred yards. Back when 22 ammunition was readily available and fairly cheap I bought Federal HV Match quite a bit. My Savage will shoot better hundred yard groups with it than any standard velocity target ammunition will at fifty yards. It just doesn't make sense. I have polished the bore it's free floated and in a Boyds Tacticool stock I even tried a tuner but it's a sixteen inch barrel so it didn't do much I did manage some one hole groups but only at twenty five yards. I have shot it all the way out to three hundred yards with Mini Mags and have pulled of consecutive hits on a five inch steel disc many times wind permitting. It just doesn't do well at fifty especially at tiny targets. Its greatest asset is it hardly ever fails to feed. fire or eject cleanly. And I can shoot it fast maybe because it's about worn out. I do have an old video shooting at 300 on YouTube.

I would start with the largest targets first. That way you have a general idea of where your shots are hitting prior to going smaller. The smallest targets would be my last.

I could never do this! But I see a lot of guys not following the "simple" rules posted right on the target! I know it is supposed to be fun, but yeah, cheating is lame. The one I see the most is "1 shot per target" I don't get why that is difficult to understand? Not fair to the ones that can read and follow the rules of the game. Like I said, I couldn't hit any of them, I do however, like watching you guys do it. But when you cheat, you're actually the first loser! 😊 So what is it? One shot per target or shoot till you hit it with your spotters? Nice shooting to those who actually follow the rules!!

I would get rid of that gun if that's how it shoots at fifty yards
