  • Last time I was at the stealership they quoted me $65 to replace the cabin filter. I politely said "f that" I'll do it myself. LOL
  • Love this simple video packed with the most relevant info like torque specs and product suggestions to make things easier. I really appreciate this.

My dealership did replace my cabin air filter at my 20k Toyota care oil change. They also had me coming in at 5k for my oil change intervals even though the book says 10k. I was impressed. All covered by Toyota care. 2023 Tacoma.

I truly enjoyed this video along with the bloopers. I hate it when videos are made and they remove any incident that may happen (Oil catcher). Thanks for sharing Sir.

I don’t know who needs to know this but I’ve came back to this video 5 different times just to get torque specs because it’s SO DETAILED with info. Thank you

I have splashed oil many times in my shop doing oil changes. I know the feeling.

I just got a Tacoma and I am learning so much with this video! Thank you so much!!!!
  • for anyone prepping to do this, I'd suggest having a larger 1/2" breaker bar and a 24 mm socket for the oil filter housing because those things can be over torqued by the dealership, at least mine was. this was the solution I'd found on tacoma world, if anyone runs into a similar thing
  • My truck reaching its first oil change, and this was all great needed info… you got yourself a subscriber

Haha this guy is all fun! Thanks for this great explanation,I’m a Taco owner and wanted to know how to reset maintenance light 😅
  • nice video, I run a bottle of that stuff every 1500 miles, also try and use ethanol free gas as much as possible. Started doing my own maintenance now that my free Toyota maintenance is over.

Great video, I'm 64 years old, and I only rotated tires on one car out of the Many cars and trucks I have had over my lifetime. What I found out is yes it made them wear the same, but it wore out all of them at the same time, so I never rotate tires anymore, why? Because I don't want to have to buy but 2 tires at the same time rather than all 4, It's a lot cheaper to buy 2 tires over 4 or even 5. I don't believe you get more life out of your tires by rotating, but you do get more life out of the set that way because the back usually wears out faster if you have rear-wheel drive and spin your tires when you take off or the front if you have front-wheel drive. And I never included my spare tire in the rotation, which honestly is probably a good idea, especially if they all match and they are all new. I'm going to try it your way on my new Tacoma and see what happens, I don't need a new spare tire, just something to get me to the tire shop if something happens on the road. I do carry a can of fix a flat and a mini air compressor with me everywhere I go, I even carry a tire fix it kit I bought from Amazon in all my cars and trucks so if i can find the whole I can just fix it on the road. I do a lot of backpacking and white water canoeing. Right now I have a dodge ram 2500 Toyota Tacoma and a Honda CRV which doesn't even come with a spare tire at all it just the can to fix a flat lol. I'm going to try it your way this time and rotate my spare into the mix until I get my spare worn down to almost time to buy a new one and see what happens, keep up the good work.
