He was shredding on a Ukulele I didn't think that was possible that's awesome
-
This is so cool. I just did this on my concert uke to make EAEA ("yay-yay") tuning!
-
I'm a guitar player and I've never even considered the possibilities of an ukulele plugged into an amp. This, this was beautiful.
-
Ridiculous how this started with a fairly sad sounding song then you go and sound like Jimi hendrix 5 seconds later. I’m constantly amazed at what the uke can do in the right hands.
-
What a fantastic musician, who can teach too. His 6-books online course is amazing, I learned so much and will do it again later.
-
This is literally the BEST ukulele video ever.

Hello James Hill, 🌞 these examples of tuning a baritone (bEbe) or a tenor/concert/soprano Uke (eAea) are so inspiring - I will try it out and hear where this journey of experimenting with it will go through. Thanks so much for this video and your knowledge you share with us and thanks for showing how much fun it could bring to try something new!!! Kind regards and be blessed from Germany, Bettina

When I heard the Bluesy stuff and closed my eyes, I could have mistaken it for a guitar with heavy distortion applied. Brilliant sound, I've subscribed!
-
Dude you just sold me on ukulele for life. Especially the two "fighting" notes. You can really make that thing howl! Legendary!
-
I'm freaking out!!!I was literally having this guy in my mind today and I got the notification. BOOM!! IM HERE

6:05 omg that chord is so beaultiful..
-
Amazing. The way you explain every single detail, note, or whatever is great!!! everything seems to be so easy :D. Thanks so much for sharing stuff like this. Love it
-
It's so important for ukulele players to not try and play every note of every chord, every time. I love this, James! Going to give EAEA (which is something my son says at bedtime when he's not tired) :D
-
Now I have to go buy a baritone! That sound is just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing this with us James!!
-
Love it, has a medieval, lutish sort of vibe.
-
Incredible! Just tried concert tuning you suggested and I'm amazed! Can't wait to write something with this tuning! Thank you!
-
What a great teaching style! And I loved the non-theory descriptive language used.
-
Such an inspirational video, James! I will explore this tuning and get more attached to new ways of playing 🔥
-
