Thanks for giving Shinedown love they have been named #1 mainstream rock band of Billboards 40 years yet they still never get on any lists bands or vocalist or frontman which all Brent should be on.

AIC, STP, Deep Purple, White snake????....many bands listed, I've never heard of...so, in that regard...but, to make a credible list of most underrated... Uriah Heep, Tragically Hip, The Guess Who to name a few...

In my opinion, The Zombies are one of the most criminally underrated bands of all time. They should be considered in the same class as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, or the Who.

Tragically Hip are definitely one of the more underrated bands, amazing songs and they rarely are ever talked about

Some of these bands such as ZZ Top and Alice in Chains I'd say are more overrated than under. But I am glad Type O Negative was included because they are definitely a rock band that deserved more fame than what they had gotten.

Riot should definitely be on the list. One of the most underrated hard rock, metal bands ever. Fire down under and thundersteel two of the most influential and greatest metal albums of all time.

Now that that's settled can we have a list of criminally underrated bands of all time? Here's a couple of my choices... Tragically Hip: United all of Canada but was contained to Canada. There final concert with Gord Downie had 20 million watching via livestream... Placebo: just like The Hip they're being outspoken on controversial matters cost them spotlight as they have been way undernarketed. Those that wander into their circle find they are not only underrated but one of the best bands ever all things considered with their metaphorical cryptic poetry for lyrics raw talent. Molko's distinct voice can be identified easily and instantly everytime they're heard. Placebo will be a band in the future everyone's heard of and will be as big as any out there worldwide... only a matter of time.

The Offspring and Bush are among my favorite bands. I don´t think REM was underrated.

Almost all the bands mentioned had decent success, for me Rollins Band was one of the most underrated bands.

Also a lot of these bands aren’t even underrated 😂
