The Air That I Breath

If I could make a wish
I think Id pass
Cant think of anything I need
No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound
Nothing to eat, no books to read

Making love with you
Has left me peaceful, warm, and tired
What more could I ask
Theres nothing left to be desired
Peace came upon me and it leaves me weak
So sleep, silent angel, go to sleep

Sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe

Peace came upon me and it leaves me weak
So sleep, silent angel, go to sleep

Sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe

Sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
And to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you

Hi All. My mother passed away a few weeks ago. I have Metastatic Breast Cancer. I'm only 57. This was my mother's favorite song for my dad. HAll I need is the air that I breathe. Dad died last year. Mom followed. Devastated but sometimes, all I need is the air that I breathe and to love you.

I lost my husband to renal cancer at the end of January 2024, he hadn’t long had his 75th birthday. We had been married a month shy of 49 years. So, this is for you my lovely man, and love of my life. Play with, Petra, Penny, Lawrence and coffee stealing Scamp.

I remember listening to this song on the radio in the car with my mother as a kid. I’m 37 now and have a 15 year old son. While riding in the car the other day, this song started to play on a station that rarely ever plays classic rock.. I started to cry. That very day marked the 16th year of my mother’s passing. Two weeks after her death, I found out I was pregnant with my son. To be in the car with my son on that very day 16 years later and to hear that song come over the airwaves like it did, gave me chills but warmed my heart at the same time. I looked at my son and said all I need is the air that I breathe and to love you.. ❤️💛💙
  • Summer of 1974, I was a kid riding in the backseat of my dad's car and singing along to this. Hearing it now, transports me back to that wonderful, innocent time. The 70's were the best years of my life. Wish I could go back. ❤
  • Had this played at my husband's funeral. Everyone was crying. Beautiful song.
  • The Hollies are one of the most underrated groups of all time. Their Melodie’s are flawless.
