No matter how impractical and poorly built the bronco is, it does it’s one job really well which is one-upping the guy at your office park that has a TRD pro that he also doesn’t use to off-road

As a Wrangler owner, the worst part of owning it is OTHER WRANGLER OWNERS. I feel this depiction so, so much.

Ford looked at Jeep printing money and thought "hey, why don't we do that?" The green looks fantastic. We need more green cars. I may be biased as a Jeep owner but I love the big tires and big fenders. I like how these look. Props to the owner for getting the 7-speed even though it limits the available options. Shame about everything else.
  • I have an FJ Cruiser and it runs as expected- excellent. Reliability also excellent. Have been lusting for a Bronco. This may have increased my appreciation for the FJ.

2023 Ford Bronco: the trophy wife of SUVs.
  • The absolute wildest thing about this is you can spend 90k for a car without hood struts.

I wheel with alot of different folks locally in Ohio, and I haven't seen a single new Jeep or Toyota out on the trails, but there is a Bronco, and it's been reliable, and gets around very well off-road.

I’m a hard core GM guy. I bought a Bronco a year ago and freaking love it!

My brother did his Bronco right. Pre-ordered, was sent photos of it being built by the factory. Took delivery of it, did a couple tasteful mods and put 5K miles on it while not really being impressed despite everyone else pining for it. Sold it back to the dealership nearly a year later at peak demand and pocketed about $8K.

"The most overlanding you're gunna do is moving this on to the lawn to open up your driveway for family reunions" lol

I work at a ford dealer, he finally put my thoughts into words. "As empty as loveless sex." That's exactly what it feels like to drive these.
  • took a ride in the Raptor version on an off-road race course. It was pretty surprising how fast and capable it was around the course

Congratulations RCR you got through this entire review without making an OJ Simpson joke!

“It deserves to be built better” is the perfect statement. Could really see buying/enjoying one of these if someone like Toyota made it.

This review was fairly standard, until the end - no question this vehicle is not built well and will have issues down the line. But the way this reviewer expressed the Bronco's strengths was pure poetry and right on target. I subscribed.

Bought my daughter one. Badlands Sasquatch. Wheeled it at Brown Mtn and Uhwarrie NC one weekend and was so impressed I bought one for myself. A good deal is a state of mind. The Bronco is as much Americana as the Jeep.

I wanted to get one but seeing the $100,000 price tags (when it first came out) made me question the decision. Needless to say, this is a $35,000 suv. Anything more than that is a scam. The prices have come down but nowhere near where it should be.

Why they didn't make the highest trim the Orenthal James Edition is beyond me. Available in two colors: white and slightly lighter white.

Not gonna lie, Mr. Regular hit the nail on the head. I'm a GM guy since I was born in the backseat of a Greyhound bus in 70', but this DOES make me want to buy a 1965 IH Scout. Old enough to member' when a truck like this would come in under $20K and options were pwr brakes and stearing. Trucks like this were made for 5 gallon buckets full of Old Milwaukee or Old Style on ice, fishing poles, Lynrd Skynyrd Gold and Platnum cassette, the dog and 20 something girls still rocking commando Daisy Dukes and the bikini top. That's the 30+ year nostalgia... That's what FoMoCo is trying to market to us Xers and tail end Boomers. Doing a hell of job, too.
