As a UX designer, I ideate to develop creative solutions to solve user problems. Ideate is one major part of design thinking. In this video, I will explain what makes good ideation and take you through an ideation session designed by me. Please prepare a pen and a piece of paper. This will be really fun. After this session, I'd love to see what you've come up with in the comment section.

I've made a mistake in the fifth section (the title shown on the video is fourth, but it should be fifth, sorry for that!)

  • Thanks for this Ideation method. As a ux design student, I will surely try it out in my assignments n projects

Love this as a framework for ideation!! i work in marketing, not UX, but did the activity as a branding exercise and found it incredibly useful

This was great. I really enjoy your content as a beginner and I'm going to test this out at my new job to improve our email communication with clients (this will be practice for when I eventually become a designer haha)

Hi, i understand the process behind the ideation session and it was very helpful. But how does it translate to the drsign later on? Can you do a video on that too? Thanks

Hi, thank you so much for this video, I'd love to try the technique but there's one step I dont understand. Around TC -19:10, you say "Find the 5 random words that correspond to your number" - in what way do those words correspond to those numbers? Was there a step I missed earlier? Or do we pick them at this point, at random? Sorry, its probably very obvious, but I'm fairly new to this. Thanks!

Hi Aliena! Thank you for your videos, they have helped me gain insight into my journey with UX. If I want to continue using this technique multiple times, do I still use those 5 words with the number I choose?
  • Thank you so much for your videos. The issue i am having is that i just started learning the google UX design course on Coursera and i am currently in course 2 but google just explain stuff without teaching how to design the process.I was given the assignment to design a persona which i don't know how to do. That is the main reason i started the course but they are not teaching the important practical step just theory which i am finding challenging for me.Please can you recommend to a website or videos where i can learn the practical aspect of the UX design. Thank you
