It was an absolute dream. Thank you for having us xx
  • Let's talk about the fact that Joe definitely improved his vocal performance yet still has that raw, in your face, punk shit from Never fight a man with a perm. Absolutely killer
  • @Lar4R

Man, discovering Idles in 2023 is fun! Lots of songs and footage to go through, very good band 👍
  • They play every song like it's their last performance ever. Brilliant band
  • You know your ears are about to get ripped when Joe gets down in that hunkered goblin stance with the microphone.

  • I've seen them live twice and they were the best shows I've ever seen. They're unmatched. I'm flying to Europe to catch them live 3 nights in a row. They're that incredible. 🙌
  • @kickholland
the whole band keeps getting better and better. and joe talbot has grown into such an immensely talented and dynamic performer. his voice has gotten so much stronger, and such a huge range. his physicality and and expressions are theatrical but don't feel excessive, he's become a great personification of the songs.
  • @paulsilva515
This is a masterclass of putting it all out there. Controlled chaos. The entire band is solid, no weak links. What a joy to watch.
  • What amazes me the most is the impossible balance joe and company have achieved between great and energetic violence and profound and authentic sensibility. This songs actually speak about this whole era with sharp criticism but also profound understanding of the times we are living. Even more: they cannot be imitiated because of the unique energy and strength they put in every note, every phrase, every expression, always giving the 300% in the scenario, this is how you can tell they're passionate, they love what they do and truly respect their audience, always giving us different but amazing interpretations of the same songs, that are always new. They are never robotic, never tired, never the same, that's why every performance is unique and truly amazing, I shall thank them for being who they are, and initiatives like from the basement for giving us the chance to enjoy this musical revolution. Can't wait to see and listen to them live, it's going to be a dream come true. With bands like Idles, King Gizzard, Squid or Black Midi, I must say that these are exciting times to be alive. All hail Idles!
  • In the past week I've seen this at least three or four times a day. It is so beautiful seeing how they've grown as a band. Each and every member is captivating in their own way, but I feel like Jon Beavis needs a lot more praise. At the 18-minute mark when everybody was looking at him was the most FUGAZI moments I've ever seen.
  • MTT 420 RR is just the best intro ever made. You get excited and scared of the album at the same time, so ready for the storm
  • I'm new here and this my actual first listen to this band. I dont get to deep into how much Im impressed with this performance and how everything is in its right place, but I will get into one thing, the song "The Beachland Ballroom". This song is "the song"... Its the one that I guess I needed to hear the most. I didnt know what to expect going into the song but what I can say for sure is that, it left me bleeding in my emotions and tears, and even tho its been 3 hours since my initial listen, the song still leaves a mark, leaves me speechless. The last segament of the song, is most of how I felt in the past 6-8 months and I couldnt let it out because I didnt know how. But hearing those vocals cut through this barrier of being passive and emotionless... Sorry for me rambling on, I think I just needed to write this somewhere...
  • @keifdelareef
This Beachland Ballroom brings me to tears. So beautiful. Thank you.
  • @Shway34
I've found my new favorite band. So raw and chaotic but pure. You can see every emotion behind every lyric he writes. It's amazing
