This ST Line is now the range-topper in South Africa, replacing the Titanium variant. It's priced at just under R550 000 and for your money you are getting the coveted ST badge on your car. But what does that actually mean?

The 2018 Kuga is a completely new car, with a completely new engine.

In this video we take a look at the upgrades that are included in the package, as well as take a look at the performance of the model and what you can expect from the 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol motor.

We also take a look at the boot space and a detailed look at the interior, including the SYNC3 infotainment system. Presenter Ciro De Siena also takes us through the car's rivals - or lack thereof.

I have the exact same car, same model, even the same platinum white colour and alloys. BTW, to use the boots (tailgate) sensor feature, the key has to be within your vicinity and you don’t wave your leg around the rear, but just a swift kick in and out within that area and you’re good to go! I am also a wheelchair user from the UK, so this feature was a must have for me, although it wasn’t standard and I had to pay £750 for it! My Kuga came in at around £32,000. But I love my Kuga, very efficient and practical. I have a wheelchair hoist fitted in the boot too, which is great. Thank you for this review, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Regards from the UK

Amazing car , I've just taken delivery of mine and absolutely love it . I got the St line edition in white with every option available . It came in at £40,000 but it was worth every penny .

As someone who traded their Fiesta ST in for a Kuga ST Line yesterday, the first 20 seconds of this video really spoke to me... lol

I would love one of those for sure! Just hope it's not full on bucket racing seats like the focus st. But I'll take one!
  • Thanks for the review, was going to buy a Nissan x trail with that money but this ST line really looks more to my liking.

My parents have a petrol ST-Line X having previously owned a Nissan Qashqai, which was unreliable and just a bit rubbish, the Kuga is a great car in comparison.

Would appreciate a comparison review of only flagship models of this SUV category.. Ford Kuga, Hyundai Tucson, Mazda CX5, Honda CRV, Subaru Forester, Toyota Rav4, Kia Sportage and etc.

Can we get a tiguan and kuga comparison video?
  • @SNUSNU-lz7dh
I just ordered the Kuga ST edition which replaces the STLine X but doesn't include the electric tailgate, that's an option now but you do get the £250 rear spoiler for free 😅

You would think that no other car brand in the world had any issues or recalls or caught on fire, seriously people, water the garden!

You don't swing your leg under the bumper you have to do a kicking motion. I have this car in a 1.5ltr tdci and it has a lot of power for a small engine 120bhp.
