A band so awesome they named a day of the week after them
  • Probably the most beautiful hard hitting emo songs ever written. I'm 40 and still gets me all the feels.

Side note: The bassline in this is absolutely banging.

This song is 17 year old me chasing after my first girlfriend, walking to her job at Sizzler, blasting this on my first ever MP3 player. Being in love for the first time.

I saw these guys at Warped Tour back in......2001? They told the crowd to make copies of their albums for our friends because fuck the music industry. Instant life-long fan.
  • 20 years later and this still sounds more fresh, new and innovative than anything these days. This era of post hardcore was brilliant and timeless.
  • @Amarz2013

I found a burnt cd with no label on the ground walking home from high school in 1998 and it was this album, Full Collapse. It changed my life. Thank you, universe.

I'm 32 now and I remember these guys from when I was 16. I fuckin love these times. Best times ever
  • This band and At The Drive in were some of my favorites in the early 2000s
  • This is art. Not imitation of art. These guys felt every note, every beat, every word. I connect to music that connects me to the souls of the performer, whatever form it takes.

This was literally the song that made screamo/post hardcore popular. It just kept going straight up from there. This and Alexisonfire are the pioneers and set up the decade and made it ok to scream on a mainstream song.
