I Just bought the 2024 ZT1 42” cub cadet mower it’s pretty badass.

I have a Z1 50 inch deck, it's 3 years old and running perfectly. I've kept to the T with the maintenance schedule. This mower is awesome for my household needs. I've never run into a patch of grass or weeds it can't handle.
  • I HAVE OWNED MY ZT1 50 FOR 3 YEARS NOW AND I CAN SAY WITH CONFIDENCE, YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY YOU PURCHASED IT!!! I MOW JUST SHY OF 11 ACRES AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM

I bought the Ultima ZT1 50 in. Fabricated Deck 23HP V-Twin Kawasaki FR Series. 1. The links to the seat cord to Amazon can you update it. 2. The Hour Meter the link is not current can you update the link or email me the link 3. The twist bolt, can you send a link for that or put a link on where to get it please. Great review, thank you for taking the time 🙏🏼

I highly recommend getting some solid front tires because, if you ever have to patch them, the bead is impossible to reseal.

Bought mine in 2019 for my new property. Property was a mess at the time. The ground is uneven and extremely rough. Trees...roots....branches....roots.....overgrown....roots....holes... hidden rocks. About two acres. I have beat the heck out of this thing. Twice branches have come up through the deck and knocked the drive belt off. Once I hit a 5/8" steel ground rod and stopped it dead. Now things are better. Brought in top soil to fill holes and cover roots. Gotten rid of hidden rocks. This thing has held up like a champ. Service it every spring and it's good to go. No regrets.

Great review. Looking for a new mower. It’s between this and the entry level Husquvarna 54”. I currently have a 2009 Cub Cadet zero turn with the Kaw. engine. No problems at all.

My 2022 ZT1 54 is in the shop for the second time this year. The left hydro has been leaking. It was repaired in Feb. This time they're replacing the hydro but I'm without my mower for 3-5 weeks. I'll pass on any MTD product next time.

Great video! Can you tell me the bolt size you used to attach the cable? Also, where did you get the “handle bolt” for the foot plate?
  • @mattlawson6975
When you said it can handle 20-30 degree hills, were you able to go straight up them or did you mean mowing them at an angle on the side?
  • @henrirt8991
Fill gas to the top after each mowing and you never need to worry about running out, plus without air space it prevents condensation and water in your tank.

Hows the new mower holding up? I am up against a wall... John Deere Z325E ZTrak Or the cub Cadet ZT1. Thoughts?
  • @isaac-ge1rn
I just bought one, supposed to be delivered this week. I bought an hour meter. Can you share a link or item name for the cable you installed for the seat?
  • @mattvmani
I just got this baby from HD, it seems to be the best of all the worlds, for less money and with more features it beats the John Deere z300 series hands down. Same engine, same transmission, better deck, better lights, and easier accessibility to the components although negligible. The only downside is, the one I bought "new" was a 2022 that had some minors scuffs, scratches, tiny paint chipped off. Stuff that will inevitably happen anyway. I did want to ask a few questions as this is my first zero turn. 1. Is it normal to get whine from the transmissions as you turn left/right? It seems like it is base online but was curious. 2. Does your deck rise somewhat abruptly as the PTO clutch engages the belt for the blades? 3. And while running, does your belt shimmy on one side of the motor causing somewhat of a vibration? Nothing really seems to be wrong, I have just never seen one in action before to have a clue. My old riding mower was a tractor style so it's a bit different. Thank you! Glad to see you settled on the same thing for the same reason!

In the market for same model now , do you feel like its better to buy from Dealer , or big box store like HD, my local HD they are running for $3,400
  • @Bigsmegma44
