Just to clarify, Ariel is singing this all in her head.

I love that we got this song. It gives us insight how Ariel feels being human for the first time ever and experiencing all these new things, that we didn't get in the original. Apparently they were going to do a similar song like this in the 1989 version but it was scrapped, so I'm happy they brought this back in this new version.

This song is probably my favorite new aspect of the movie: catchy, mellifluous, and complementary to the original lineup. Great composition, and Halle nailed it!

Watching this in the cinema was a whole other experience- the visuals paired with this song was so magical and captured Ariel's wonder for the surface world! my favorite part of the whole movie!!

For whatever reason, this song is so much more deeper than it’s intended to be. I see this song as doing anything for the first time and being scared but courageous to face it: falling in love, heartbreak, moving to a new city, etc.

What I like the most about this song is that here we see Ariel doing and enjoying all the land things she said she wanted to do while singing “Part of Your World” something we didn’t see much in the animation
