I just shortened a tank to fit my shelving racks on the bottom for growing plants xD Can't believe it was this simple haha! Thanks

Awesome. Going to shorten a 10 gallon to build a “pond” for my ball pythons enclosure.
  • Man this got me thinking about lowering the height of my 125 gallon tank just so I can grow carpet plants better....But man cutting that 6 foot tank is no joke....
  • Would this work on a 55 gallon with 3/8” glass? I’d like to cut it down to a 33 long. Thanks.
  • @jreckzane
What kind of glass cutter did you use?
  • @ABones-bm3vq
turning my 55gal into a 33gal long. Im surprised you can break the glass when its just floating in the air like that. I should have no problem since I took my entire tank apart lol
  • @Acejulv
i got tank mate that the bottom got small crack
  • Why didn't you score the glass first and cut the silicone afterwards?
