Jennie’s rap in Bigbang’s Loser is so impressive. Their rappers have 2 different rap styles and flow but she did their raps without breaking a sweat. BP performed it live, too.

Jisoo said that Jennie loves to rap to Outsider’s Loner whenever they go to karaoke which means we’ve only seen 20% of her rap skills so far. YG is holding her back.

Jennie is the Main Rapper and her iconic speedy savage flow literally slayed. Jennie also is the lead vocalist which makes her have more vocal lines than raps in the other songs. Due to Jennie’s strong and powerful vocal. That’s the reason why she’s always the intro during their live performances. Jennie’s powerful opening vocal/voice literally hyping up the crowd at all time.

Knox, Jennie wasn’t getting a lot of raps in BP even though she’s the main rapper then she was so happy that she announced during D4 promotions that “Rapper Jennie is back”. Then no raps again after that. She hasn’t rapped for more than 2 years until the Album came out where she only rapped in 3 out of 8 songs. If she didn’t write her own rap in Lovesick Girls, she’d only rap in two. So you know what she did? She went ahead and wrote her own 40 second rap verse for her Solo remix, the longest in her entire career in Blackpink.

If you really want to see how good Jennie at rapping, go watch Blackpink cover of Bigbang’s Loser. Bigbang has 2 rappers who have different flow and rap style, but Jennie slayed them all. Also go check Blackpink cover of Miguel’s Sure Thing, Jennie and Lisa back-to-back rap is amazing. They even write the lyrics of the rap.

A fact that break my heart : Jennie had a note book where she used to write lyrics as a trainee but it was stolen , then she said she taped a note on the wall saying (things are going missing)

Jennie was 16 when she appeared as a featured artist in Lee Hi’s Special. Her flow there was impeccable, what more now that she’s 25. I hope we get more Jennie raps in their comeback.🙂
