Today AD is welcomed by former NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony to tour his stylish new home in Westchester, New York. After closing out his two-decade-long basketball career in May, the New York native felt it was time to settle into a more spacious pad in the suburbs. Leaving the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks behind him, Anthony teamed up with interior designer Cassandre Bonhomme to create a home that matched his eclectic taste. Together, they designed a “modern vintage” interior–ornate fixtures paired with a luxe color palette and fabrics make the perfect home for Carmelo’s extensive contemporary art collection. With more space to stretch his legs and just a short drive into the city, it’s safe to say that Melo has settled nicely into his next chapter in the ’burbs. “I love land, I love space. Once you start getting out of the city and traveling and going to these other places, you realize that a 25 to 30-minute drive is not that far from the city.”

The man’s house has so much personalities. It is exquisitely styled, rich, full of passion, and uniquely beautiful. The arts gave the house life. It’s is so amazing, I’m in a awe!

I love how he speaks about the pieces & what they mean to him/ how he feels bc that’s what arts about. Like he said in the beginning he doesn’t like it bc he’s told to, it’s just something that he’s gravitated to & that’s what makes them special to be surrounded by

His celebration of Black art is commendable. I also appreciate the rich colors of the paint he chose like the pine green and thought put into the furniture. Each room seems to have a theme too. I just love Westchester, NY!

I’m pleasantly surprised to see the colors and artwork and beautiful decor in the house. It’s not often that we see men, especially sports stars, really get into interior design and art like Melo. He clearly has excellent taste!

Literally you wouldn’t know he was an NBA star unless it shows in his house because this is by far the absolute best Open Door yet! He has so much personality that displays throughout and I mean I’m in awe of this. Show me who you are when the cameras are off and this one shows his true personality.

It's so rare to see color in a house of celebrity... This house has style and passion! Most of the time celebs show us white walls and orange couches) I love his art and the fact he knows the meaning behind these pieces!

The art collection is SIC! So many inspiring pieces! Love that you can see his personality with the Ali references, the dining room table, the Stay Melo references and the record collection. Not just boring minimalist beige stuff.. I also like that he actually drinks the wine and wears the shoes! No just for show but to enjoy! Love to see it! Cool space Melo!
