  • Taylor never lied about kanye situation.. she was framed by them in 2020 the full unedited video came out proving Taylor was telling the truth all along. See casandra song

Rumour has it that most of the songs are about Matty Healy from 1975. They dated on and off secretly since 2014. Then Joe happens. But she still had a candle burning for Matty so after the joe break up they got together. He made promises and ghosted her allegedly. And the fans and media freaked out about them dating and didn’t want that piece of poo to be in her life. So at least that’s how I interpreted the album and all the rumours lol
  • This is why we were so confused when TTPD came out. I only see JA in So Long London, the beginning of Fresh Out the Slammer and How did it End. I see Travis in The Alchemy, So High School and possibly The Albatross. Most of the rest I see MH.

Love this reaction! ❤️ also notice she never says “love of MY life”, she only says loss. 😭😭 death upon impact 😭😭
  • @eggzacly
LMAOOOO I grinned when you said “okay i guess it isn’t loss of my life and i was being overanalytical”

You should definitely react to more Taylor this was fun! A lot of this album is not about Joe, tho i think most songs have more than one muse, imo. The one that is definitely about him is So Long London. You can see how their relationship ended. Fresh out the slammer she leabes and run immediately to Matty. In Guilty as sin shes clearly woth someone, peobably Joe and imagining being with someone else. The title track is about Matty, I can Fix Him and the smallest man who ever lived. Like this man loved bombed her, selling her the idea of everything she wanted the marriage, the babies, the epic love story only too then ghost her and leave after very little time. That left ger realing worse than the slow death of her long term relationship. Down Bad is an Alien Metaphor! Thats why you get the "beam me up" "to do experiments on" waking up in a field alone. "Ecounters closer and closer." "Hostile take overs". Like this person showed her a whole different world and that there was more out there like an alien abduction and now shes waiting for for then to come back because everything is mundane now in comparison. Who's Afraid, is also not about a relationship. Its about Taylor and the media, and the public and the way shes treated and the things they say about her.

Joe Alwyn was part of a group chat called "the Tortured Man's Club"
  • @burrtonnn
That was fun! You're very articulate and so lively!! I liked the clock in the background, felt like an easter egg hahah
  • @shkh1418
You’re so deep in the lore you know so much, you are basically a swiftie
  • @cassyf1949
really enjoyed your reaction. Maybe you can adjust the volume a bit more balanced, because the music was a lot louder than when you were speaking. Also it was funny when you said in the beginning that you like sad songs with a nice beat and I thought, well then you are in for a treat with TTPD :D

Taylor is a master of visual media and is amazing as a live performer so, if you haven't already done so, I suggest exploring lots of her music videos and live performances,. Here are some suggestions from some of her previous work that will give you a sense of what I mean, as well as being examples of her wide-ranging genres and styles. These are all fan faves, so I promise that swifties will love you for seeing as many of these as you are able (as well as exploring the new album as much as you like). Two of many iconic live performances from the Eras Tour: Taylor Swift - Tolerate It (Live From Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Film) - 4K https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcusGOZNdC0 Taylor Swift 'Vigilante Shit' The Eras Tour (Movie Ver.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qnRUPYEfdg If you have not yet seen the Long Pond Sessions movie, then it's a necessity. It's the best way to experience the folklore album: Exile (Long Pond Sessions) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5SQIECedTY One of my favorite songs from the Lover album, and an iconic live performance: Taylor Swift - "False God" (Live on Saturday Night Live / 2019) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjD3LoXp-Pw I know you listened to the Reputation album, but did you see any music videos or the Reputation Stadium Tour movie? If not, here are a few videos you need to see: Look What You Made Me Do (official music video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tmd-ClpJxA Don't Blame Me - Taylor Swift • Reputation Tour https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seOJleBbf-U Reputation Stadium Tour movie: intro + "ready for it?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QJaf6qq8jQ Ready For It? OMG NOW I NEED YOUR REACTION TO “THE ANTHOLOGY” 😭😍🤍🖤✨
  • @amelia9171
(commenting at the beginning, so i apologize if you talk about any of this later in the vid!) we (the swifties) are like 99.9999% sure that these songs are about matty healy! there are some lyrics about joe here and there, but it’s mostly matty 🥲 for example “lucy” is likely lucy dacus, who knows matty and really doesn’t like him
  • @PoeticRainbow
I loved your reaction. I can't vouch for everyone but I don't mind if you interpret something different than the general Swiftie consensus! I love the way you describe what you're hearing and telling us what you like! It's really refreshing to hear someone's perspective who doesn't have the Book of Lore deep in their head. You're also just really funny and your comedic timing is addicting. I'll definitely be back for more if you post!
