Watch me finally wall off Sanctuary - this is the first step in making Sanctuary Hills the foremost settlement in the Commonwealth.

Diamond City? It's a glorified hamlet.

I cannot thank you enough for creating this video. I have a brand new xbox one and was recently gifted Fallout 4 and have had some really really frustrating experiences trying to build sanctuary walls that are not only effective defense measures but also aesthetically pleasing. Thank you so much!

I don't think I could ever do a wall this great. I had a hard enough time walling off little Jamaica Plains with the two story walls you showed us haha props mate. Cant wait to see it finished, it already looks amazing
  • Can't wait to see it completely done! By far the best settlements I've seen across YouTube.

Just seen the tutorial vid for these walls too. Lost track of how many good ideas got from your stuff but swear this very best yet. Flipping genius.
  • I put up walls a while ago similar to what you did in your original sanctuary but this really temps me to take the time and do something bigger and better like this. Awesome job Davey!

You are a master fallout crafter! Great job, I get a lot of inspiration for my settlement builds from you keep up the good work and videos👍🏻

god damn that looks nice. I've been with you ever since you started, and I've seen so much improvement mate. I just want to live in your sanctuary it looks so good.
  • Have you ever considered doing settlement reviews where you possibly have viewers send you footage of their places and then you give out pointers and such?
  • @xSlattzZ
I just started playing fallout 4 and I have no idea how you did any of this lol
  • @Elend002
I used settlement mods religiously, but these tutorials helped me with getting better at settlement building, I was terrible at first but your channel has helped me in building a sandbag/concrete trench wall at Sanctuary LMAO
  • @KevinAlibert
man, you made me wanted to rebuild my sanctuary, I was proud of it but now I believe it looks like crap !
  • @CuriousMind477
I love the walls! Thank you for giving me so many new ideas about settlement building! :)

Awesome walls, Davey. I've been building these at my Sanctuary and came up with a little trick on the ground level pieces to leave less of a gap and keep them straight and in line with the walkway better. When you build your tower and lay the 1x1 small shack floors at the top for your walkway, go out 4 pieces, then attach a wall to third and 4th ones. Store the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor pieces, leaving the wall floating in the air. Now select the wall. If its low enough, it will drop to the ground automatically. If not, use the L1+X command (PS4) to drop it down without changing its angle or position. Once that is done, you should have you lower wall completely inline with your walkway above. Once you glitch the upper sections you will have an almost perfectly straight wall. Now, to remove more of the gap at ground level: Now that your wall is straight and inline with walkway, run your walls for as far as you want. Go to the section that is floating the highest over the ground. Remove the section(s) attached to either side of it. Now select it, and once again it should drop down to ground level. Attach your other sections to the lowered one and the rest of the walls should clip into the ground, eliminating larger gaps. Keep up the great work, love the vids!

I always watch your videos and think to myself, "You could do this in half the time with a creation kit". It amazes me that you have the patience to do this. I'd probably throw my controller at a wall trying to do it myself.

I'm finally getting into building in falllout 4 and omg. No idea where to start and pisses me off walls don't lay flat on floor some places. This helps a lot!
