Joann Fletcher is one of the best to ever do it. As a historian she really ignites the excitement of her audience regardless of their background or familiarity of the topic discussed. She makes me feel like I'm learning this topic for the first time and that's always a treasure to experience.

I wish all my teachers/professors were like Dr. Fletcher. What a remarkable journey this series was - I'm so glad I found this, and my appreciation for the greatest culture in world history has never been deeper. This series is an absolutely wonderful one and I have watched various episodes over and over! I love Joann! She has crazy hair, always in black and never wears makeup. I love that about her - the only thing she cares about is teaching us all about her passion, EGYPT! Man, I wish all of my teachers had been as enthusiastic as her!👍💜
