In this video I explain why an adjustable portable charger (granny cable) does have a safety advantage over a normal/non-adjustable charger - but only if used correctly. The ZenCar charger is adjustable so you can reduce the current below the standard 10A which is great in some circumstances and will reduce the risk of overheating & fire.
