Who believes that bollywood is just garbage without remakes😂😂

Jawan was produced by Red Chillies which is owned by SRK. The whole 60 percent profit plus 100 crore fee is just him reinvesting the money back into his production company. And given that Atlee is the director while SRK being the lead, it was guarantied that this film will make massive bank. SRK is actually a very smart guy; he knows the economics of the industry in-and-out and know which projects to place bets on. Also, a big chunk of his money actually goes into VFX division of Red Chillies which India's top VFX STUDIO.

I feel only malayalam industry is following the story based movies. One of the best malayalam movie of this year is '2018'.

I'm not really into SRK, but gotta admit, dude's been in the game for 30 years from dealing with the underworld back in the day to handling political stuff today. Pretty wild journey haha. Probably the only actor with a spine.
  • Don't blame the audience. Although '12th Fail' had a budget of 20 CR, it earned 2.5 times that amount, collecting 56 CR. I personally supported it due to the quality of the story. People still appreciate a quality story over junk.

One solution to this problem could be to make movies with new actors who are formally trained in acting, such as FTII graduates. This way, a lot of new fresh talent would get an opportunity to get introduced and the producers can spend more money on hiring experienced directors and behind the scene artists as well as visual and other special effects.

A special and personal video coming on Friday! Do watch it ❤

Problem is with producers 😂if they stop investing in films then actors will automatically reduce their fees and everything will be on track again😅
  • A slight correction: L' accoudour the french movie was the inspiration for Andhadun, you can't say it's a remake. the french film is a short film which is 13 mins long while the Andhadhun movie is 2 hours+, the concept is the same but the story expands and adds so much more. i wouldn't call it a remake.

wrt to writers, Korean industry seem to be doing something right. They give due credit to the writers, many dramas would have hype around who the writer is compared to actors. Since Kdrama caters to an international audience rather than relying on star power, many times writers will also be part of casting. You can also see interviews where writers like kim yun sook would share why they took a particular actor for their story.

most Bollywood movies bas 3 ghante ke Tik Tok videos hai 😂😂

Also, the another reason is lack of movies, adapted from Indian literature. If you look in Hollywood, you will find many movies which were adapted from literature. Forrest Gump was also an adaptation from a novel of the same name. I have read some of the stories of writers like Bhagwati Charan Verma, Munshi Premchanda, Mridula Garga and Vijay Tendulkar. And I will tell you most of the Indian writers of 20th century were very much ahead of their time and you will also enjoy their stories. Most of these writers had come to the film industry but they ended up being disappointed with the system. But some writers like Vijay Tendulkar had written screenplays of some of finest films like Manthan, Ardhasatya, Nishant. I also recommend you to read his plays. If you don't have time to read the indian literature, atleast hear the radio play adaptations of them, produced by Aakashvani.

Very informative and highly recommended to those who says Bollywood movies are trash at least now they know the reason !
  • @anandchauhan780
As a aspiring writer and a member of SWA .. I was appalled when i got to know about the compensation of writers. How do you expect a writer to give his 100% when you pay them 8 to 30 lac for the movie being made on the budget of 50 to 100 crore.. There are thousands of writers in the industry getting scammed.. there was a writer who only got paid 10000 for his movie in exchange of credits.. Indian movie industry will not get better until writer and other artists are paid well..

Every artist should be respected. A film just doesn't revolve around the star or actor ; Movie is a combined effort of the director , script writer, producer , technical artist and other crew members. Not only the star but all the crew should be appreciated for the success of a movie. Well said Mohak Mangal 💯
  • I want to add about the studio era. Being a person from Andhra Pradesh, I can say this: Some of the Epic classics, which are even widely acclaimed to this day were made during the studio era. Films like Mayabazaar (1957) and Pathala Bhairavi (1951) were epic fantasy movies, which were made by the Vijaya Vauhini studio, are still considered classic movies even to this day, with their beautiful dialogues, set pieces, and story+screenplay combinations. PS: Thank you for raising the issue with Tollywood as well (even if done in passing). The problem of high upfront fees is prevalent not just in Bollywood, but also is creeping up in Tollywood.
  • @shivu6377
I think that Bollywood should focus on fun and realistic stories and avoid cringe scenes in movies. And also that it's better to use songs as BGM while progressing the story, and not as overextended filler dance video.
  • One more issue that I feel is really important is Many movies releases EVERY Friday and the trend will or somewhat have been established with OTT's also for Sunday. Do not pressure artists for such a useless norm of every friday release is a must. Unnecessary time limitations will not give better art so just forget about Masterpieces. There is absolutely never-ending material already present in the world of Cinema that is sufficient for any individual for a lifetime, so it is my sincere request to all the movie studios, filmmakers that take your time and give it to the writers to create something meaningful, put your money in surveys and do the needful accordingly. We have such an audience right now that is mature enough to understand complex stories.
