Listening carefully to the lyrics and oh my goodness, I am crying. Whitney singing “And one of us is left alone to carry on, I know remembering will have to do, our memories alone can get us through”....knowing Cissy would be left alone to carry on. This is so heartbreaking to watch now.

They have the same vocal morphology...just a generation apart. Their phrasing and clarity in their upper belts are simply something to behold. Absolutely amazing.

Whitney's voice is like liquid gold. Her tone, her projection, her resonance, her vibrato, the throw in her voice - especially when she strongly emphasizes on the first letter's sound in a belt. She was in full command here. Just sitting there, relaxing and casually delivering flawless vocals.
