I always like contrast of this scene and the music it represents, normally it when a character giving it all makes their music become epic but this moment with Himeno is much more impactful and emotional

The distant travelling tone filled with emotion is running through my mind, giving me emotions that I haven't felt before. The loving embrace of another human being but also the cold wind that you feel after somebody leaves you. Chainsaw Man is an obnoxious anime filled with things that could never be real, but they way they brought over emotions through music and the characters is something that hits close, it breaks the barrier between what's real and what isn't, it fills you up with the emotions that the characters give you, in that moment you truly are them.

This music just tares me up inside, the scene of himeno just continually giving her body and her life like that. The pure love she showed is something else for me. After I first watched it, it kept me up at night. The thought of a woman giving that much for someone she loves, as an idea is just so foreign to me. My own mother and many other women I've known always only ever given a surface level of love and backed off from their men anytime it was their turn to make a sacrifice. I hate this song, but I still love listening to it
