With the banners, bedrock was actually updated recently so you can put banners on shields.

The boats with leads is really useful for transporting villagers

14:37 Shader support is being added to Bedrock edition, it's called Deferred Rendering Engine, already available on betas and previews. It will be supported on almost all platforms and RTX will still be available on supported devices

A lot of things are different now. My favorite thing is that they finally finally added to bedrock was being able to crawl with trap doors.
  • 11:00 as a bedrock user this is actually able to be used for as a plane, you could attach mobs or people to the boat, and then fly with an elytra

You can actually put banner in shields in bedrock edition and also you can craft a boat without a shovel now they did an parity update :)
  • @Jelly_Frie
I played MineCraft Bedrock yesterday, and to my surprise, you no longer require a wooden shovel to craft any variant of the boats.

The villager system is much different in bedrock. You can see a preview of what you can get at the next level, and if you hit villagers, their prices don't instantaneously and significantly go up. Also, I think if Iron Golems don't have a line of sight from you hitting them, they won't attack you.

Bedrock got updated at some point so the boat craft no longer needs the Shovel.
  • @Chadlikestrains
By using experiments in Bedrock Edition you could actually crawl so yeah the piston and composter glitch might actually be a thing
  • @grandmabiscuits
you can do the right-side-up shucker box drop entrance in bedrock too also, the barrel recipe is now planks in bedrock:(
  • @theunknown4602
After the latest update, bedrock boats doesn't require a shovel anymore.

Love Bedrock, I can't stand how "floaty" the Flying is in creative mode

I also thought of the idea where a Sticky Piston can push a Redstone Block into another Piston so it would push a Redstone Block into every next Piston, and then if you deactivate the first Piston then all the other Pistons will retract the Redstone Blocks and also deactivate. You can also shoot an Arrow from a Dispenser so it would hit a Button that stands on another Dispenser, and then it will shoot an Arrow on Buttons of every next Dispensers.

Also in Bedrock, you used to be able to swim on top of the surface of water and not lose any air bubbles, but now you start losing them. Makes sense, but I liked the previous solution. On top of leashing boats and transporting mobs with them, if say like a villager is in the boat, you can't pull the boat passed the path block onto a grass block. The tiny pixel height refuses access to the boat to move over it. When it has nothing in the boat however, it can go from path block to grass block. Stay frosty!

As a bedrock player, the trick where you can put a lead on a boat is really useful when transporting villagers

Number 42 with boats is really useful to transport villagers

in bedrock you can actually have an infinite render distance by setting the value as high as you want in the options.txt files.

The "structure void" thing also works on Java, but with light blocks. Just place an invisible light block, and you can place rails on top of it!
