  • The green house at the end on 10:18 in the video is the house where my father grew up in back in the 1950's and that school across the street is Dunbar where he went to school. Great people came from that hood. My father and all his siblings finished college and had or has great careers. So its not where you come from its what's instilled inside of you.

Bo Jackson, the best 2-sport athlete and one of the most physically-gifted athletes overall, is from Bessemer.

The houses are run down, but the streets are clean and quiet. Lots of trees and greenery. That town could use a roofing contractor, but otherwise, it’s not too bad. I’d spend my stimulus check on fixing up my house, then live happily ever after in peace and quiet, not like all the 💩 up North.

0:15 wow the apt to the left by the suv is the one I grew up in. So many memories here, I went to that boys and girls club and the elementary school up the block. Good times and simple times it’s good that it is still there and hasn’t been demolished or anything. I live off and on from LA and Atlanta now but I need to revisit this place. See if some of those wild berries are still growing along the train tracks.
