Huge kudos to Jefe on this one!! His brakes failed while driving an unfamiliar rig and he was able to get it stopped without injuries or catastrophic damage to either vehicle. It's wild that brakes failed on both vehicles! What are the odds?
  • After waiting in a hospital for your son's surgery, then off to repair the Wrecker and recover a side by side; Matt could not hide his emotions but he managed to complete the task in front of him, even out of uniform. Looks like lessons are needed for how to operate the wrecker. ❤❤
  • This is THE number one reason I LOVE to watch this channel: Despite all the trials folks go through NO ONE loses his "cool" and completes the task WITHOUT using foul language, or shows anger. KUDOS to ALL Matt's family members and crew!

No one can imagine the feelings of having an injured child. No matter their age. Get well soon Colin.
  • @StereoSpace
Wow. Hats off to Collin for the courage it takes to go through all that and still be happy and stable and productive. You go, Collin!
  • @Freedbird
Matt is an impressive human. Philosopher, dad, husband, boss, mechanic, designer and Peanut loves him !
  • @danieldunham9978
Matt is the most level headed person i have ever seen, he handles stress better than anybody i know for sure!
  • Hey Matt. 25 years in trucks and heavy equipment and 9 years oilfield any time everybody walks away without getting hurt after equipment failure is a glorious day. I've seen it go the other way more times than I care to remember.
  • I hope all is well with Collin. I wanted to share my dads story. In 1977 my dad was in accident that severed his arm off just above the elbow. When the first responders came he asked them to bring his arm. At the first hospital they told my dad there was nothing they could do. Two weeks prior my dad read a story about a Dr. Reeder ( I think that is how you spell it) who had developed a technique for limb replantation. At the time he was at Orthopedic Hospital in Los Angeles. My dad asked if they would call and see they would take him, Before he knew it, my mom, my dad and his arm packaged in ice between his legs were in a helicopter off to Los Angeles. Historically, my dad is the 2nd limb replantation patient. At the time, he achieved 35% use of his arm. When I see stories like your sons, it always moves me. My dad is such a resilient man who takes life in stride. They learned a lot of from dads experience. Somewhere in your sons success is a little of my dad. We don't always understand why bad things happen in our lives. One thing is for sure, God can turn anything bad and use it for good! Praying for a quick recovery for Collin!

Damn, Matt went through an emotional rollercoaster this video. It's incredible how he stayed calm and collected throughout the entire day.
  • @axelpremiss4322
We are flattered that you MORR guys would share such highly personal details of Colin’s journey and inviting us into your lives like this.
  • @jamiegodwin9881
I love that y’all took us all along on your son’s hospital visit. It really shows that you have one of the best family-oriented YouTube channels! Thanks MORR!
  • @Ribastein
Man oh man...Matt is really just a good old genuine guy!!!! Takes everything in his Stride. God bless your son. Hope he comes right soon. Greetings from South Africa.
  • @stevea4416
I have no doubt that Rudy, Colin, and Rhett will have the fondest memories of working with Dad. Look back in 40 years and tell me I'm wrong. Best wishes to this incredible family.
  • @davedennis6042
Even though Matt was tired and emotionally drained he still was cool and kind through the whole ordeal. That's why he's the Captain or King, or Top Dog. Definitely a role model for all of us.
  • @DanteYewToob
Hey Matt, I just wanted to let you know as a person who grew up in children’s hospitals having dozens of surgeries also… I just wanted you to know that the fear and anxiety does go away. Also, I have a love and appreciation for my mom who went through it all with me, and I know your son will feel the same. I still hate needles too tho… lol I hope Colin gets better without complication and he should know that’s there’s a few of us out here who understand what he’s going through and it does get better and we’re fortunate to have modern medicine. Stay safe out there! - Dante Antonio
  • @mrwinston_thepug
I can appreciate Matt and how he stays so calm even though under stress. I wish I had that mentality.
  • @SJCDAVE
Matt, you must have been emotionally drained after that day. "All's well that ends well" as they say. So glad your son's surgery went well. That's what is important. I keep being impressed with the capability of the wrecker! Why hasn't anybody named it yet? "The worlds largest off-road wrecker" is desciptive, but not a name... We need a naming contest!
  • @misswildlife7905
Collin is an amazing man, even if we don't see much of him on videos; he has persevered through all these years. A strong family has helped get him through this ordeal.
  • @justinweier4099
Man, I remember being in weird, crazy, difficult situations like this with my dad, uncles, and brothers (and daughter). Honestly it does my heart good to see you guys work the problem together, stay calm, get along, and get it done. Hope your son is healing quickly and glad the surgery went well. That's a lot for a young man to go through. But his positive attitude in spite of all he's been through is a credit to your family.
