Oh, my goodness gracious! I recently came into possession of a home that had had a roof leak for years, plus pets, smokers, and decades of general neglect. I know I will eventually remove the carpets in the bedrooms, but with all the other MAJOR repairs I'm tackling, hardwood through the upper level is just not in the budget at the moment. However, the stench of the carpets was killing me. It kept me awake at night, even from across the hallway. It was a mix of cigarette smoke, animal urine, and wet/decomposing carpet underlayment. I used a Hoover carpet shampooer with the brand's recommended solution for pet messes, and while it did a fair job in bringing dirt up, the SMELL just got worse, despite shampooing it 3 times in 3 days! Walking through the hardware store for something else, I noticed OdoBan. It said it could be used on carpets, so I got it. I made solution (1 cup of OdoBan to a gallon of hot water), filled the shampooer with it, and washed the carpet in the main room twice. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! There is the faintest, faintest smell of mustiness still (that could very well be mold in the drywall and plywood, not the carpet itself) but the revolting mix of urine, smoke, and dirt is gone! I cannot believe it! Where has this product been all my life???!!! I am so impressed that I wanted to leave this review here so others are encouraged to try it. (I used the Fresh Linen scent and found it very pleasant; it reminds me of baby wipes). Great, great product!
  • I love OdoBan! We use it at homer, Hubby uses it on his construction jobs, we use it in the kitchen, laundry, for pet areas and accidents, it is so helpful, and no other stuff beats it!
  • Love odoban already. I just ordered a gallon and im cleaning my whole house and its already smelling fresh. Going to use it in an extractor. Super excited

I’ve been using your product for 40+ years. I could go into detail about the many different tasks that I’ve used your products on that your videos more than cover anything I could add. I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you.

Hi, Well you asked for people that uses OdoBan to write here. Well? I am here. The question for me is ‘where do you not use odoban’ ? I use it every room in my home. Bathroom—to clean toilet, floor, counter, sink Bedroom—lightly spray on mattress, and bedding Living room—spray for sofa, curtains, carpet Kitchen—clean counters, stove, backsplash, curtains. That’s just a few things I use OdoBan. I don’t do all of these every day, depending on how I am cleaning whichever room I am in.
  • We have cat urine in multiple places on our carpet. We've tried using nature's miracle and another similar product on the stains already but they're not completely gone. If we want to try using OdoBan is it okay that the stains have already been sprayed with other product as long as it's dry?
  • @rjeezy891
How long does this product last if you sprayed it on your bed Or curtains or furniture
  • We used odoban on wetsuits at the whitewater facility I worked at! That stuff is amazing!

QUESTION ABOUT PET URINE OR SPRAY!!! So I do Love OdoBan! I use it for almost all my cleaning! My experience previously, I have outside kitty's that will come in and I don't have carpet. I have original hardwood floors , lots of wood furniture, OdoBan has ammonia in it and i tried using it to removed one of my stubborn Kitty's spray đŸ˜± and cleaners with ammonia or ammonium seem to highlight this Horrible Smell With a Very Aggressive Smell!!! So my question is how does OdoBan help these smells if your supposed to use the opposite types of cleaning solutions avoiding ammonia??? Thanks

I have a question on Odoban for carpets. I used Odoban to clean my carpets and it did a great job. No more urine smell. Used fans to speed the drying process. However, the manufacturer of the machine I used did not recommend multiple passes to extract as much water as possible. There are, what looks like "permanent" wet streaks in the carpet even though it is dry to the touch. Is it dried Odoban solution? What can I do to get rid of these??? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I purchased the spray bottles of Odoban in bulk but would like to use it in my carpet cleaner. Since the spray is not a concentrate, what is the proper mixture of Odoban and water to add to the carpet cleaner to remove pet urine odors?
  • What happen to OdoBan No-Rinse Neutral pH Floor Cleaner? Did the company stop production? Can't seem to find them anywhere... And if you do find them the price is like 2x high.
  • @spacemandaxx
Does OdoBan eliminate the urine smell or just cover up the scent with fragrances? A non-scented version of OdoBan would be good for urine to ensure the actual urine smell is gone.
  • @Patriotsoul
If using a extractor do you need to rinse carpet with clean water after application?
  • @darktoadone5068
Can this be used on a concrete garage floor that a cat peed on and smelled the garage up?
