Is anyone else mesmerized by how shiny phoebe’s hair is?

I love stories of singer/songwriters working with their childhood favorites...What a feeling that must be for them....

This feels so awkward. It's feels like a couple that got asked to be on "A dating game" but between when they said yes and signed the contract they broke up.

    beautiful humble creative beings
  • I love Conor Oberst's music because the lyrics can mean something to one person and something totally different to someone else.

This is one of those collaborations where'd I'd be equally happy listening to a new album three years from now or twelve years from now. I get the impression that Phoebe Bridgers must be a very generous collaborator. She's really brought out/been present for the best aspects of a solid range of songwriting partners.

20:34 as a musician that never became a "rockstar" the answer for me is yes.

Conor’s got a sweet turquoise pendant on — love that they are ok with telling us how songs get made
  • 1999 koos café santa ana me and maybe 7 other people were in the building watching bright eyes give the most terrifying passionate masterpiece of a performance that i was amazed that conor survived as he looked like he was in the process of a suicide final goodbye with a eery sadness that was as captivating as anything kurt cobain had ever unleashed on stage. i told my uncle i had just seen the most amazing funeral in rock history. one with survivors.
