"Nintendo wouldn't have a character like this!" Oh how the years make fools out of people.
  • @iKhanKing
"Bayonetta is a witch, and in accordance with the retranslation of vampires from closet lurking bogey men to mopey solar powered disco balls, witches are now strippers" LOL
  • @techdeth
the "Fortunately, being English,... " line cracked me the fuck up. Cultural humor is awesome from another side
  • @timebomb4562
does someone actually have a japanese love pillow with yahtzee on it
  • @twoplus2787
"You wouldn't see Nintendo bring out a character..." That's funny.
  • @IshayuG
So you said at the start of this video that Nintendo wouldn't put out a character like Bayonetta. HA, joke's on you!

"The occasional cheap death pulled right out the game's arse. I mean... arse."
  • @ATStirzaker
I love the phrase 'garment rendingly frustrating'. So accurate.
  • @Komnen0s
Yahtzee sounds completely wasted when you set the speed to 0.5.
  • This game just makes me want to break things. I mean that whole "stone" achievement just PISSES ME OFF. Also, I find her over-sexualized mannerisms hilarious more than sexy. I mean I am straight male, but she is so sarcastic about it that it makes me feel like she is joking about it more than anything.

3:04 I always thought the ice skates was just a joke about finesse until I played it and learned they are actual weapons you can use in the game
  • @eddthehead123
Ironically, at 3:05ish he has Bayonetta on skates, which are actually one of the best weapons in the game
  • @LeNimph
I am a woman and really enjoyed playing Bayonetta. She's a woman who get's shit done and can take care of herself and looks like she has amazing fun doing it too.
  • I agree with Yahtzee how stories back then were simple, like Pacman: eat these and avoid ghosts.. though sometimes you can eat them if you ate- ARGHHH
  • @Kimihro
So if anyone didn't notice, that bit on the Japanese Love Pillow at 4:19 used his face on the pillow with some bloke humping it. Humility, Yahtzee. Jeez.

You know, in retrospect, now that I'm a few years older, am no longer a teenager, and have much more of an ability to laugh at myself and joke about stupid things in stuff I really, REALLY like... I really love this review of one of my favorite hack and slash games. And now that I have more of an ability to laugh at things I like, it's funny that this is actually a pretty positive review for him. Oh, and having come from an extremely sexually repressive background, having a strong, badass female character who's not ashamed of flaunting her sexuality was actually super awesome for me as a repressed bisexual teenage girl. And if I ever get a Wii U, it will almost solely be for Bayonetta 2, though I wish to god it would just be ported to the Playstation.

This is one of my favourite games of the previous gen , it's insanely fun and I LOVE its enemy desings (aside from the loading screen and the sudden qte)
