Sad that this happened to hard-working workers contributing to America, instead of destroying it. So sad for their families.
  • 💔 Those poor hard workers. Prayers to them and their families. Such a sad situation.

Rest in peace. My heart goes out to their families for the loss of their loved ones.

Lets call this like it is. First, lets call it a ship crash, rather than bridge collapse. The bridge would have been fine if the ship did not hit it! So, lets hope the shipping company is held accountable for the lives lost in this ridiculous accident.

I’m glad two families get a bit of closure, but I’m also sorry that they have to go through this.

NOTHING will stop 100,000+ tons! Media needs to STFU about the structural soundness of the bridge!

It is so hard to see something like this happen YouTube being born in Baltimore Maryland in 1965 but now live in Guntersville Alabama but this really breaks my heart to the families who lost their loved ones and because of this bridge going down it's heartbreaking or myself and everyone

A 116K ton vessel traveling at ~8kts does NOT stop on a dime. They lost power and steerage at the most inopportune time.
