My Closet Makeover

So inspiring, you got me thinking about my pantry right off the kitchen. I go in there 50 times a day and you look directly into a wall with shelves on each side. It is large, a walk in so my brooms, vacuums, mixers, food, batteries, you name it is stored. My kitchen is nice and I wallpapered it last year. Now, with your beautiful closet as my inspiration, I am going to wallpaper this wall that hits you just as you walk into the room and paint a coordinating color on the other walls. Thanks so much!!!

I love that you kept your existing shelving system and were able to do such a transformative and beautiful makeover. I have been thinking of a closet makeover for years but have been intimidated by the expense and complexity of figuring out how to replace my existing wire shelves which are actually quite functional. I love how you combined function and beauty and include realistic upgrades like the sweater boxes and the dresser with jewelry drawer. And the fact that you were still able to keep and incorporate the memory boxes. So many closet makeovers are beautiful but feel a little disingenuous because I wonder where the stuff went (and we all have it). Best makeover ever!
