Hey Steve and Miss Molly! Workin’ again ya’ll. 👍👍
  • Really enjoy your videos. My HVAC guy recently replaced my expansion tank. He used a battery-powered tire inflater and filled the expansion tank with air, which greatly reduced the weight.

Nice job dude! Never seen a tank that locked in. Neat trick with the heat!

Hi Steve. I tried that electronic softener you were talking about at my previous house. It worked real well and eliminated the mineral residues in the whole system.

Always enjoy. You should show your mug, on camera more often Steve! I can see it now, the tank comes loose the boiling water burns your forearm, you drop the tank. Anyway... Thanks again Steve!

Never saw an expansion tank stuck like that.
  • Hey Steve. Have you ever used one of those Pipe vise wrenches ? Look like the micro 10 would work great for the expantion tank.
  • @larrygwinn6649
This is where a 90 degree offset pipe wrench would work great

you need a few more things in the way to add some challenge to these repairs LOL

Are there setting on the water feeder? If so, how do you set it? Thx
  • 😅Hi Steven I have a question about undoing that tank just saw it off to beagain with , there's no shortage of piping at this time

Sounds like he has really hard water. Would that screw up and screw all the valves in the boiler due to calcium buildup? Perhaps a water softener could help?

I’m skeptical of something you wrap around a pipe somehow changing the water inside the pipe.
