  • Mouth-watering indeed!!!!! This is our dream episode and you nailed it!! Knox is so great at describing food. I want to taste that crispy skin so badly! I wish we were there with you. In fact, we were at that exact food park. I can picture us all there trying food together. But we have to know what is your wedding song?

It’s really in Cebu you can find the best LECHON ever. I have a friend in Manila who is a Cebuana-Chinese who have a LECHON business called LECHON FAMILY. That IT food market is festive. Enjoy the rest of your days in the Philippines.
  • Knox, if you keep honing that talent of yours of giving spot on food descriptions, you'll have a career at the Food Network.

husband speaking age 80 - checking in - my wife's home area. Lechon is so different in Cebu then in Manila. We usually send a Cebu Lechon to her brother in Makati for Christmas. It is cooked and flown out in the morning and her brother goes to the airport to pick it up. Personally, I do not eat pig this way, give me a regular U.S. ham.

PUSΓ“ is cooked rice stuffed in woven young coconut leaves shaped like a heart. In Filipino language, heart is puso. The heart shaped weave is filled with rice up to 2/3, sealed then dipped into boiling water, once cooked the pusΓ² gets filled with aromatic rice, moist and best paired with lechon, BBQ, seafoods and other grilled faves ! ❀❀❀ Now am salivating πŸ˜…
