You also have to be paranoid to interact with the black rocks on the shores. They they’ll you about the area.

That beam of red light that’s visible at night looks like it’s coming from the place you needed to throw the book in the good ending.

That engine that "beats within your own" is better than the jet drive when you get into panic mode basically it's the fight or flight adrenaline boost to get you out of sticky situations

A game like this is successful because of the subtle things like the ship's speed. As your ship goes quicker you appreciate how much faster you're traveling as a result of all the work you've put in. The player going slow in the beginning forces them to investigate many things they may overlook if they could rush past.

did you know that if you point your spyglass at a fishing spot in the distance it will tell you what kind of spot it is (costal, shallow, dredge...), it will even tell you what fish, or material (wood, scrap...) in the case of dredging, are there.

Those giant fish are actually the good guys. They won't hurt you and show up randomly unless you try to go off the map. Then they'll hunt you until you return to the map and finish what you started. That's my theory anyway.

I do wish they could add new game plus. At minimum, I would like the game to keep progress on the encyclopedia, research trees, and maybe the books(or double the bonuses). At most, have it give upgraded versions of ancient equipment, or add a new hull upgrade that looks similar to the ancient equipment and boosts the effects of said equipment.

Z - Since your focus is "getting things done", this playthrough, you need to make sure you keep an eye on your Book reading. If you get a new book, make sure you check it IMMEDIATELY, as you've frequently gotten a new book that you could have started right away, and it takes you a while to notice that you could start reading something...

there's an abyssal fishing rod you can get for free with no missions required, it's called the viscera crane

That red light looks like its the spot where you threw the book back in the previous episode.

The fins on the monster are the same as the ones on the monster for the good ending, maybe because he completed good ending it appears naturally now

Hey Z, there is actually a small bug in the game that could help you get dredge supplies and research parts a little bit faster if you are interested. you need to builder side quest first and let her build her house first though. Ill let you look it up if your interested. No spoilers! :D

Haven't seen the monster during the day.. but at night i've seen something pulling a massive byou (at least 3x size of my ship).. but seeing this one not pulling anything.. hmm. Also some of the "boats" .. well there are definitely surprises ;)

If the engine says beats in time with your own then it probably goes faster the more panicked you are in game

The only timed missions afaik are the hooded figures. Otherwise, I spent loads of time fishing instead of doing pursuits and finished the game with all the achievements

if you sell mutated fish to fish monger he does different things like extrating a handkerchief form a fish
