Absolutely a great video well done and nice grouping!
  • Just started watching your videos, good work ! Learned some things i didn't know , validated other things that i did. I like the way you keep things simple but complete. My own set up is much like your own, i load for .270 and .223 for a long while, and just started 6 arc .270wsm and .308 to help out my son in laws, gotta leave my equipment to family you know,, dang rockchucker will last forever!

You can't have grouping with only one shot you could use any powder of any amount and it will still put a hole in the target, one shot tells you nothing.
  • I came to love Shooters World powders years ago. Excellent performance and very low cost. In the early days, the biggest problem was load data. Availability is still an issue, as it seems that they only import it a few times a year. Unfortunately, the cost has skyrocketed, bringing it very close to the cost of more mainstream powders.

I have found SW Precision to be as accurate as Varget in my 6 Dasher with Berger 105 Hybrids. I'm now working up a load for 6BR as well.

SW shoots amazing in my 6mm arc! Did a video on it and now I can’t find the powder haha words getting out, good video. Sub 👍

Seems like nice powder. Left is Left. Right is Right.

Nice video. Consistent powder. I think that it helped with those longer bullets with good bearing surface.

The PRS guys have been using SW Precision for a number of years now. Usually, SD and ES are lower than with Varget. BTW; Those rings are entirely too high.

Using Shooters World Precision Rifle powder in my 224 Valkyrie with great results!

The only problem is no one carries it near me. If I have to order online might as well get varget because I know it works. Wish bass pro would carry it.

I’m doing development with SW precision with a 150 Seirra Gameking. Shooting out of my encore.

Reloader 15 N40 They work . Try lapua brass , quality bullet .
  • Technically, no a 5th shot won't, not by itself, but 4 or more groups of 3-5 (gun cooled down like you would expect it to be each time you go to the field) WILL make a difference in your assurance of accuracy. You said that flyer was you, but did you know that when you let off the trigger? Too many shooters take the blame for what's actually statistical noise. Hornady episodes 50 & 52 (entitled respectively "Your groups are/are still too small.") cover the truth about statistics in determining accuracy. The only thing small aggregate groups are truly valid for is weeding out bad loads or identifying other issues.
  • Is that unburnt powder hitting the target about 1.5 seconds after hit? Sounds like something is going on there.
  • @tedballou
Bullet weight and brand? you may have said somewhere in the middle I missed it.
  • @Lucysdad66
Varget is always at the store I've never seen your powder.

Was buying this for 20 bucks a pound, now it's 60 to 70 bucks. That's how panic buying and hoarding drives the price gouging from the companies.
